Digital Vault

It’s no secret that successful people read. Bill Gates reads 50 books a year (or one book a week). No matter how busy successful people are, they always spend at least an hour a day — or five hours a work week — learning or practicing. And they do this across their entire career. Reading is a superpower.

The Digital Vault is a collection of some of the most impactful books, blogs, essays, and podcasts I’ve encountered. Instead of toiling to maintain a top-10 book list, I’ve decided to share an organic list that reflects where my curiosity takes me.

A word of advice for anyone getting started on their journey: There is no correct path. It’s easy to become paralyzed trying to identify the ‘right’ sources. The most important thing to do is make reading a habit. Start with your curiosity. Read what excites you. Always give new sources a chance: Read the first chapter, skim through a Twitter feed, or listen to the first 5 minutes of that new podcast. If you’re continually curious, you’ll inevitably find the timeless pieces.

As this vault builds, I’ll categorize and organize. In the meantime, I’ll prioritize aggregation.

An ongoing project…
